Homes from this era commonly have Federal Pacific Stab-Lok panels — a known fire hazard that most insurers will not cover. If your panel is Federal Pacific, replacement is not optional; it is a safety issue. We replace these regularly in Holiday.
Aluminum wiring is also common in Holiday homes from the late 1960s and early 1970s. It is not automatically a problem, but aluminum-to-copper connections at outlets and switches are. We inspect, pig-tail, and certify aluminum wiring so it meets current safety standards.
