What a great service! Got the number from the store I bought my Appliance from. Called Tony, left a message and got a call back the same day,. We made an appointment at my convenience , he was on time, polite, knew what the problem was almost immediately, service performed and dryer running great!

I called and they were able to come out the same day. The problem was diagnosed right away. He asked if I had another fridge I could put the food in so the fridge could defrost overnight. I said I did not but knew people who had room and coolers I could use. He said to not do that. They would come the next day with equipment that could defrost the fridge quickly. They came at the time they said they would both days. They were professional and considerate of my time.

An electrical inspection in Tampa Bay by a licensed contractor is different from a home inspection. A home inspector looks at the electrical panel from the outside, notes the brand, and calls out obvious issues. A licensed electrical contractor opens the panel, checks breaker condition and sizing, tests for signs of overheating, verifies GFCI and AFCI protection throughout the house, and identifies specific code violations.

We charge $89 for the inspection. That covers the site visit, the written report with photos, and a repair quote if you want one. License ER-13016759 — required if your insurance company needs a signed letter.

Pre-purchase inspections are common. A general home inspection may flag the panel brand and recommend "further evaluation by a licensed electrician." We are that electrician. We tell you specifically what's wrong, what's code-compliant, and what repairs would cost. That information is useful when negotiating a purchase price.

Insurance companies in Florida increasingly require a licensed electrician's letter confirming the electrical system is safe to insure — especially for older homes changing hands. We provide that letter. If the system has problems, we tell you what they are. We won't sign off on a system with live safety issues.

The $89 diagnostic applies toward any repair work we quote at the same visit.

When You Need It /

Signs You Need Electrical Inspections

You're Buying a Home

The general home inspector recommended 'further evaluation of the electrical.' We are that evaluation. We look at what the general inspector couldn't — panel internals, GFCI coverage, grounding, code violations.

Your Insurance Company Requires a Letter

Florida insurers increasingly require a licensed electrician's letter for older homes or homes with older panels. License ER-13016759 covers the letter in Pasco, Hillsborough, and Pinellas counties.

You're Selling a Home

Getting an inspection before listing gives you time to address issues on your schedule rather than during escrow negotiations. We provide a written report you can share with buyers.

You Inherited a Property

Inherited homes have unknown electrical histories. We assess what's there, identify any immediate safety issues, and give you a documented baseline.

Your Panel Is Over Twenty Years Old

Not every old panel needs replacement. But if it hasn't been inspected by a licensed contractor since installation, the $89 diagnostic tells you exactly where you stand.

FAQ /

Frequently Asked Questions

What does an electrical inspection include?

Panel inspection (breaker condition, labeling, signs of arcing or overheating), GFCI testing in kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and outdoors, AFCI verification, grounding check, visible wiring condition, and a written report with photos.

How is an electrical inspection different from a home inspection?

A home inspector looks at the electrical system visually and tests outlets. A licensed electrical contractor opens the panel, identifies specific code violations, tests GFCI and AFCI protection, and gives you a repair quote on the spot.

Do I need a licensed electrician for an insurance letter?

Yes. Insurance companies require the letter to be signed by a licensed electrical contractor. License ER-13016759 covers Pasco, Hillsborough, and Pinellas counties.

How long does an electrical inspection take?

About ninety minutes for an average-size Florida home. We allow time to answer your questions and walk you through what we found.

What if the inspection finds problems?

We give you a written repair quote at the same visit. You decide what to address and when. The $89 inspection fee applies toward any repair work we do.
