1. Diagnostic Fee
A non-refundable diagnostic fee of $89is charged for each appliance examined during a service visit. This fee covers the technician's travel, inspection, and diagnosis, and must be paid before any estimate is provided. The $89 diagnostic fee is applied toward the cost of repair if you authorize us to proceed.
If our technician arrives and finds no fault with the appliance (“no problem found”), the $89 diagnostic fee remains due and payable in full.
2. Appointments
We schedule appointments within a 2–4 hour arrival window based on technician availability. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. For emergencies, we are available 24/7 — call (727) 222-9892 anytime.
If parts are required before the repair can begin, no appointment will be scheduled until parts are confirmed for delivery.
3. Access and Diagnosis
Our technician requires full and unrestricted access to the appliance. If access is limited, additional charges may apply. During diagnosis, additional issues may be identified beyond those originally reported. If this occurs, we will provide a revised estimate at no additional charge.
If the cause of the problem is determined to be external to the appliance — such as a tripped circuit breaker, faulty outlet, or clogged dryer vent — we will recommend the appropriate specialist. In that case, our $89 diagnostic fee remains due in full, and the customer is responsible for any additional costs.
4. Recommendations
Any advice or recommendations provided by our technicians are suggestions only. The customer is solely responsible for all decisions regarding their appliance.
5. Estimates
Estimates are valid for 7 days from the date issued. The customer is responsible for reviewing the estimate carefully before signing. Your signature authorizes My Fixer LLC to proceed with the repair at the quoted price.
If additional time is needed to finalize an estimate, we will follow up within 48 hours. If parts pricing changes before the repair begins, we will issue a revised estimate for your review and approval.
A partial payment covering the diagnostic fee and parts cost is required before any repair work begins.
6. Pricing
All pricing follows industry-standard guidelines for appliance repair and is charged per job, not per hour. A $25.00 fee applies to all returned or dishonored checks.
7. Parts
We carry common repair parts on every service call. Parts not in stock are typically ordered within 1–3 business days and arrive within 1–5 business days. You will be notified when parts arrive.
Parts removed from your appliance during the repair may be retained by us as required by the repair process. If an ordered part becomes permanently unavailable, we will not proceed with the repair and will notify you promptly.
With your written agreement, we may repair a part rather than replace it. No warranty is provided on repaired parts. Once the completed invoice is signed, the repair is accepted as-is.
8. Maintenance
If an appliance requires cleaning or maintenance work before the repair can be performed, an additional charge will apply. This will be disclosed before work begins.
9. Cancellation
If you cancel a repair after parts have been ordered, a restocking fee of 25% of the parts cost will be charged. Refunds are processed within 4 weeks. Special-order parts are non-refundable under any circumstances.
10. Completion of Repair
A repair is considered complete when the reported issue has been resolved by one or more of the following: part replacement, part repair, drain or system cleaning, routine maintenance, wiring connection repair, or software reset.
11. Warranty
My Fixer LLC warranty coverage depends on the type of service performed:
- Appliance Repair: 12-month warranty on parts and labor.
- Electrical Work: 36-month warranty on parts and labor. All electrical work is performed under Florida Electrical Contractor License ER-13016759 and is permitted and inspected where required by code.
These warranties apply only to parts purchased through My Fixer LLC and installed by our technicians. The applicable warranty term will be stated on your invoice at the time of service.
The warranty is void if:
- The appliance is not maintained in accordance with manufacturer recommendations (e.g., failure to clean filters, drain lines, or lint traps as required)
- The equipment is transferred to a new owner or relocated to a new address
- The equipment is serviced, modified, or repaired by anyone other than a My Fixer LLC technician after our repair
- The customer or any third party tampers with the repaired components
Excluded from warranty coverage:
Cosmetic damage, consumable items, chemical treatments, filters, access valves, wiring not directly replaced during the repair, and parts that were already damaged or non-functional prior to our service visit. My Fixer LLC reserves the right to decline warranty coverage in cases where post-repair conditions make a fair assessment impossible (e.g., fire damage, flood, or misuse).
12. Limitation of Liability
My Fixer LLC's total liability to the customer for any claim arising from a repair service is limited to the amount paid by the customer for that specific repair. We are not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, including but not limited to: food spoilage due to refrigeration failure; damage to flooring, cabinetry, or surrounding furniture resulting from appliance movement required to perform the repair; or property damage caused by pre-existing conditions unrelated to the reported issue.
Any damage claim related to water leakage must be reported before the customer signs the completed invoice. Once the invoice is signed, the repair is accepted and My Fixer LLC is released from liability for water-related damage connected to that repair.
My Fixer LLC maintains general liability insurance. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for damage caused by the proven gross negligence of our technicians.
13. Pre-Existing Conditions
My Fixer LLC is not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, or defects unrelated to the reported issue and present before our technician's visit. If pre-existing damage is identified during the service call, it will be noted on the work order.
14. Parts Unavailability
My Fixer LLC is not liable for delays or inability to complete repairs caused by circumstances outside our control, including parts discontinuation, supply chain disruptions, or manufacturer backlogs. In such cases, we will notify you promptly and you will owe only the $89 diagnostic fee.
15. Card Processing Fees
A flat fee of $3.95 applies to all Visa Debit card transactions. All other credit or debit card payments are subject to a 3.75% processing fee with a minimum charge of $3.95. Cash and check payments carry no processing fee.
16. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full within 3 days of completed repair. Balances unpaid after 10 days will be referred to a third-party collection agency. The customer is responsible for all resulting collection costs, including reasonable attorney fees, if applicable.
17. Invoice Sign-Off
Your signature on the completed invoice confirms that you have reviewed and approved the work performed and that the appliance was operating as expected at the time of service. No refunds are issued on completed and signed repairs.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising from a service provided by My Fixer LLC that cannot be resolved directly shall be submitted to mediation or small claims court in Pasco County, Florida, before any other legal action is pursued.

Authorization
By signing the diagnostic authorization, estimate, or completed invoice, the customer confirms they have read and agree to all Terms and Conditions above and authorizes My Fixer LLC technicians to perform the requested repair services.
