Read moreDishwasher repair in Tampa Bay is usually a two-hour job once we identify what failed. The most common problems: a dishwasher that won't drain (failed drain pump, clogged drain hose, or blocked air gap), one that doesn't clean (spray arm holes clogged, wash pump motor failing), or one that leaks (door gasket, inlet valve, or pump seal). The $89 diagnostic tells you which.
Don't replace a dishwasher that isn't draining before calling us. A non-draining dishwasher is one of the most straightforward appliance repairs. A failed drain pump is a $30–$80 part. A clogged hose or filter is a fifteen-minute job. Replacing the machine for a $150 repair happens more often than it should.
Bosch, KitchenAid, and Whirlpool are the brands we see most often in Tampa Bay homes. We also work on LG, Samsung, GE, Frigidaire, and Maytag. Most parts are available same day or next day.
The $89 diagnostic applies toward the repair. Twelve-month warranty on parts and labor.

Signs You Need Dishwasher Repair
Dishwasher Won't Drain After the Cycle
Standing water in the bottom after a cycle is almost always the drain pump, a clogged drain hose, or a blocked air gap on the sink. We check all three in the diagnostic. It's usually one of the cheaper repairs we do.
Dishes Are Coming Out Dirty
Clogged spray arm holes are the most common cause — easily cleared. If the spray arm turns freely and the holes are clear, a failing wash pump motor is next. We test the pump before recommending replacement.
Water Leaking onto the Kitchen Floor
Door gasket is the most common source — it cracks and gaps after years of use. Inlet valve leaks and pump seal leaks are less common but we check both in the diagnostic.
Dishwasher Won't Start
Door latch failure prevents the machine from sensing the door is closed. Control board failure is less common. We check the latch first — it's an inexpensive fix when that's the cause.
Makes Loud Grinding or Humming During a Cycle
A piece of debris caught in the pump impeller causes grinding. A humming motor that doesn't move water is a failing wash pump. Both are identifiable in the diagnostic.

FAQ /
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my dishwasher not draining?
Most often: a failed drain pump, a clogged drain hose, or a blocked air gap on the sink. It's one of the most common dishwasher repairs and usually one of the least expensive. The $89 diagnostic identifies the exact cause.
Is dishwasher repair worth it?
For units under ten years old, yes — in most cases. The most common repairs cost $120–$200. A new dishwasher costs $400–$800 plus installation. For units over twelve years old with major failures, we'll give you both numbers so you can decide.
Why are my dishes not getting clean?
Most often: clogged spray arm holes, a dirty filter (many modern dishwashers have a manual-clean filter at the bottom), or a water temperature issue. We check all three in the diagnostic.
How long does dishwasher repair take?
The diagnostic takes about an hour. Most repairs are completed the same visit. Parts that need to be ordered are typically available within one to two business days.
